Bilingual Spanish a plus;
Associates degree preferred;
Preferred Certified Medical Biller;
2 years Experience in scheduling, front desk, insurance verification/eligibility, denials, Medicaid/Private insurances, fee-for-service, and billing practices;
Proven ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in written form required;
Excellent Customer Service skills with specific problem solving abilities;
Knowledge of medical terminology;
Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding;
Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team;
Good organizational skills and attention to detail/accuracy;
Proficient in Microsoft Office;
Basic math skills required;
Effective interpersonal and organizational skills;
Valid driver’s license in the state of residence.
