    SERV, a well-established leader in behavioral healthcare in New Jersey, supports people with mental illness and/or intellectual/developmental disabilities as they achieve greater independence and life satisfaction through a wide range of services.


     This Licensed Practical Nurse position is for our developmental disabilities residential program in the Mercer County area which requires travel to our other sites in New Jersey.


    • Deliver health services to clients who are experiencing mental and physical conditions associated with mental illness
    • Utilize the nursing process documentation and communication skills to collaborate with physicians and other team members
    • Provide nursing concepts and care plans to all SERV clients
    • Provide health education training as assigned, administration of drugs, collection of samples for testing, monitoring, input/output of food & liquor, preparation of injections/enemas, providing patient hygiene, and taking vital signs
    • Perform other duties as from time-to-time be deemed appropriate by the supervisor


    • Graduation from an approved school of nursing
    • Valid current Licensed Practical Nurse license in New Jersey
    • Current CPR/FA certificate
    • 1 year experience in the field of behavioral health PREFERRED
    • Must have a valid driver’s license in state of residence with no suspensions or moving violations in the past year, and no more than 5 points on driving record
    • Must be 21 years old
    • Must be able to successfully complete a physical, drug screen and background check
